Electrostatic Separator
Electrostatic separation utilizes the difference in electrical properties of materials within a high-voltage electric field to achieve separation purposes. As materials pass through a rotating drum into the high-voltage electric field generated by the corona electrode, they experience various forces such as electrical forces, centrifugal forces, and gravity. Due to the differing electrical properties of various materials and their resultant force states, materials exhibit different trajectories upon falling, thereby separating metal and non-metal mixtures. Electrostatic separation is particularly suitable for the separation of powdered materials.
Scope of Application:
Removal of non-ferrous metal substances from plastics:
Separation of aluminum-plastic composites (such as aluminum-plastic panels, aluminum-plastic pipes, medicine boards, aluminum-plastic packaging materials, aluminum wires, aluminum-plastic mixed shavings, etc.), and copper-plastic separation.
Removal of non-metallic minerals from plastics (such as sand, stones, ceramics, glass, asbestos, diatomaceous earth, limestone, kaolin, clay, etc.).
Recovery and separation of metals from various waste printed circuit boards.
